  Appointments typically last 45 minutes to an hour, during which the therapist discusses your case history and asks questions about your condition.

Your Osteopath will observe your posture and mobility through simple movements and stretches, as issues in one area may relate to another. Using hands on palpation techniques, they will assess your joints, tissues, and ligaments. If serious conditions are suspected that require further care, you may be referred to your GP or hospital with a letter outlining their findings.

•  You may be asked to remove some clothing if you are comfortable, but this is optional; treatment can be done through clothing, though it may be less effective. 
• Children under 18 must have a Chaperone on all appointments,
• Wear shorts and appropriate underwear for your treatment.
• Inform your practitioner if you feel uncomfortable.
• Privacy will be provided for undressing, and a gown or towel should be available.
• Your practitioner will use towels as needed to maintain privacy.
• You may have a friend or relative accompany you during treatment.
